BEAUTICIANS from Bury College adopted a strict hands-on approach when they give up their free time to help a local school.
For the second successive year, they carried out a host of manicures and associated treatments to provide another cash boost for Sunnybank CP School in Hathaway Road, Bury.
Female visitors to the school were given the opportunity to undergo two treatments for £6, with all the money going towards school funds.
The college beauticians gave their services free, much to the delight of the school fund-raisers. They hope to have beaten last year's sum of £400, once all the money is calculated.
