It's been slim pickings for movie goers this week due to the cricket world cup.

You'd have thought this would be the best time to release a film because not everyone is mental about cricket. The only ones brave enough to hit the screens this month were 'Stumped' a movie about ... you guessed it cricket and 'Escape from Taliban' which by name just put me right off.

And so to Yeh Dil which should hit the screens this month. The reason we all love Bollywood is because no matter how depressing life gets they'll always cheer you up with a run-of--the-mill love story. The kind of tale which has no surprise ending and you know exactly what is going to happen from the very start.

Yeh Dil certainly falls into that section. Newcomers Tusshar Kapoor and Natasha seem to be made for the parts as two hapless youngsters on the slow and winding road to oblivion until their paths cross. Both are obviously attracted to one another but can't show their feelings until fate intervenes. It's a mediocre effort from the producers really whose only plus point is it's great soundtrack.

Despite the criticism it's been a long time since they released a predictable love story like this....so much so it'll surprise you!
