A NEW dimension has been added to the attack on Iraq that it has been made a moral issue by the two

Archbishops of the UK. They asserted that an attack on Iraq is immoral and gave certain reasons to the effect. Prime Minister Tony Blair has asserted that the attack on Iraq is Moral and also gave reasons for it.

According to the Oxford dictionary, 'Moral' is an adjective concerned with the goodness or badness of

character or behaviour, or with difference between right and wrong. It has many other synonyms like ethical, chaste, decent, right, sinless, virtuous and many more.

I will very humbly request the clergy to keep out of the issue of morality in the UK. You haven't forgotten that sodomy, fornication and illegitimate children from teen-age girls underage for marriage are legal and considered moral in this country. Therefore killing of half a million legitimate children in Iraq can only be normal by the above moral standard.

Besides, the aims of war for the US and the UK are different. President Bush wants to attack Iraq, as it is a danger to America after it develops long rang missiles and Prime Minister Tony Blair wants to attack Iraq by bombs and bullets to save the Iraqi people from a tyrant. Both want to kill humans for a noble cause; by Western standard both are morally right.

After all this is nothing new, the Pharaoh did the same with the children of Israel so that they may never grow up to be a danger to him. Comparatively Pharaoh was more humane as he lived amongst his enemy but President Bush lives half a world away from his.
