A 10-YEAR management plan is being developed for one of the area's most important roads.
The A585 Amounderness Way, which links Fleetwood with the M55, is being examined by the Highways Agency in a bid to relieve congestion, improve safety, protect the environment and provide better travel information.
Consultants, Parson Brinkerhoff, have been appointed to run the project, and are expected to begin meetings with local authorities this summer, and also plan to consult drivers.
