FIVE of the area's leading young bands will be competing for a day at a top recording studio.
Jazzy Keks in Blackburn plays host to a Best of the Bands competition on Sunday with the winning group getting a day at manchester's Opus Studio.
The five bands taking paart are Maceo, 8 Day People, The White Halls, SWF and Larusso.
Each band will play for up to 20 minutes. DJs Stanless and Dunk Le Chunk will take to the decks during the night.
Doors open at 9pm and admission is £3 with all proceeds from the event going to the East Lancashire Deaf Society.
