TWO raiders, one armed with a knife, are being hunted following a robbery at an off-licence.
The masked men struck at the Premier store in Heywood Road, Prestwich, at 7.15pm on Thursday (July 24) . They escaped with cigarettes and cash.
One of the thugs jumped over the counter while his accomplice pushed an assistant to the floor. They grabbed cigarettes and put them into a bag before emptying the till.
The raiders escaped in what police believe was either a red or orange coloured Vauxhall Cavalier saloon. The duo wore balaclavas, dark clothing and gloves.
Anyone with information about the robbery should ring Whitefield CID on 856 8248.
