ALL good things come to those Kuwait!

For a Bury company has supplied handsets to the Middle Eastern country in the latest in a series of lucrative export orders.

And the Interquartz name for quality led to the order being placed by the Government in Kuwait, despite the continuing tensions in the Middle East.

Interquartz (UK) Ltd, based in Bury, has supplied 1,000 telephone handsets to the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Planning in Kuwait.

The order for Avaya branded phones is the latest in a series of contracts won by Interquartz from companies and organisations in the Middle East, including the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Oman and Saudi Arabia.

Charles Williams, new business development manager for the company, is predictably delighted by the latest order.

"It's nice to have the business after all the troubles in the Middle East. It underlines the confidence they have in the build quality of our products and our experience in international trade."

Interquartz is based at Pennine House in Salford Street, Bury, the headquarters of its parent company, Pennine Telecom.

Earlier this year, the company announced it had broken into the Russian market. It clinched a deal worth 200,000 US dollars to supply hands-free speaker phones throughout the country for the Ministry of Taxes.

This order came hard on the heels of a separate contract for phones for the new World Trade Centre in Dubai.

Interquartz (UK) Ltd manufactures and distributes high quality, feature rich business telephones into the European, Middle Eastern and African world markets.
