BOLD Venture Park, Darwen, was packed with more than 200 people enjoying an outdoor Shakespeare production this week.
Illyria Theatre, a company of seven players, brought The Merchant of Venice to life in the children's play area of the beauty spot.
The company, which has performed the Bard's As You Like It in the past, stunned the crowd with the sheer number of costume changes.
Steve Burch, Darwen Library Theatre manager, said: "They are just a fantastic company to watch because they can really entertain the crowd. Luckily the rain held off and it was great to see so many people turn up and show their support."
Amy Liptrott, former Royal Shakespeare Company harpist, said: "It was a brilliant production and I think more people should come to events like this."
