WE would like to say a big "thank you" to the Bury Times for keeping us informed about what was happening to our livelihoods in the light of proposals to close Warthfield Elderly Persons Home. As readers can imagine, the past 18 months has been a very stressful time for the residents, their families and the staff.
The outcome was not the one we had hoped for but knowing is less stressful than being kept in the dark. At least we know we can rely on the Bury Times to tell us what will happen next regarding our future.
