I WOULD like to thank Mrs Hoyle for her letter (July 18) for putting so well what many people at the Arts and Crafts Centre have been saying for the last 13 years. Could I now ask Bury Council:
What is the cost in real terms of housing the Fusiliers museum in the Arts and Crafts Centre, and moving adult education into the Halifax building?
Are the Fusiliers buying, renting or leasing the building?
Is the authority buying, renting or leasing the Halifax building?
What will it cost to refurbish the Halifax building to make it suitable for adult education?
Honest answers please.
