LEIGH Centurions have honoured their Life President Tommy Sale by naming the popular supporters' stand after him.
Tommy, aged 85, a former player and club director has been associated with his home town club for almost 75 years.
Centurions' head coach and general manager Paul Terzis said: "Tommy is Leigh. He has served the club, the town and rugby league with distinction. Naming the stand after Tommy is something we wanted to do just to honour this true gentleman."
