FAST-TALKING call-handler Sarah Lang has been nominated for five awards in a scheme aimed at recognising the area's best young apprentices.
Sarah, of Appletree Way, Oswaldtwistle, has been undertaking a Foundation Modern Apprenticeship in call-handling while working as a calls technician at Ultraframe in Clitheroe.
The 24-year-old has been nominated for five awards at the up-coming annual awards ceremony of training provider Pendle Training.
Her nominations include Call-Handling Foundation Modern Apprentice of the Year, the Outstanding Achievement Award and Best In-Company Trainee.
Communicating on the phone has become second nature to Sarah who deals with customer service enquiries, transport, sales and order tracking.
Sarah said: "It's a busy department, but the atmosphere is really friendly. To be nominated five times is a total surprise. I'm looking forward to the awards ceremony."
Sarah was snapped up by Ultraframe following a work placement there after completing 'A' levels at St Wilfrid's High School, Blackburn.
She will now have to wait until August 14 to see if she has won, when she joins 200 other apprentices from across East Lancashire at the awards ceremony at the Fence Gate, Fence.
