BARNOLDSWICK will be busy during the Bank Holiday weekend with more events as part of the town's festival.

A free kite festival with a Brazilian flavour will be held on Saturday at Letcliffe Park, where people will be able to create and fly their kites between 1 and 4pm.

Popular Via Samba band will provide percussion performances and workshops during the afternoon while handmade items will be on sale at the Barlick Crafters markets, held every Saturday throughout the two-month long festival.

The crafters will also be giving demonstrations during the markets on the town square or nearby in the OAP Centre, in Frank Street, between 10am and 4pm.

Local artists or crafters producing exclusive handmade items who wish to join the market should contact Dianne Hodkinson on 01282 815259 for further information.
