BURNLEY must hit the road again after being drawn away to Scunthorpe United in the Carling Cup second round.
The Clarets visit Glanford Park in late September as a reward for beating Chesterfield on penalties in round one.
And manager Stan Ternent is upbeat about his side's chances of edging out the Iron and earning a potentially money-spinning third round tie against a Premiership big gun.
Ternent said: "It's pretty normal for us to be drawn away and it seems everything is not going in our favour at the moment.
"But you just have to get your head down and get on with it. The last time we were at Scunthorpe in May 2000 it was a really happy hunting ground for us because we won a promotion.
"It will be a tough game and I would have preferred a home draw, like any manager, but we'll get on with it.
"We did all right in the cup last year and if we can get past this one, who knows what happens."
All second round ties will take place during the week commencing Monday 22 September.
