RICKY Bibey will stay a Centurion at least until the end of the season.

The barnstorming front rower has extended his loan deal from Wigan and he will remain at his hometown club until Leigh's campaign is over.

The 21-year-old prop's initial loan deal expires after this Sunday's trip to Doncaster but Centurions' coach Paul Terzis has struck an agreement with opposite number Mike Gregory to keep Bibey at Hilton Park.

Talented young forward

Bibey has impressed in his three appearances so far and Leigh are keen to keep him on. "Ricky's a talented young forward and he's enjoying his time here," Terzis says. "It's good for him and it's good for us."

Bibey's new loan agreement is on a week-by-week basis with Wigan allowed to recall him at any time, if needed.

On the other side of coin, Terzis has fended off a number of loan enquiries from other clubs for his players.

He declared: "No-one else will be leaving the first grade squad."

"The players who have got us this far must be allowed to reap the rewards. Players who are not in the 17 each week still have a big part to play in the games to come. We have not come all this way to spoil it now."
