STAFF and volunteers are stepping out to raise money for Pendleside Hospice.
Three one-day sponsored walks through Burnley and Pendle have been organised and the intrepid walkers will call at six of the seven hospice charity shops.
Their itinerary will also include businesses who have supported the hospice in the past such as The Shooters Arms, Pendle Heritage Centre, Lakeside Garden Centre and Barden Mill.
Hospice chairman, Muriel Jobling, will meet the walkers at Barden Mill at the end of their three-day effort.
The walkers are appealing for sponsorship to help them raise vital funds to continue the work of the hospice. If you can help please telephone John Binks on 01282 440128.
