THE anxious wait for exam results will be over this week leaving many young people considering their future choices.

And in order to help GCSE students, and those who already know their A-level results, the Lancashire Evening Telegraph has organised a Premier Education Exhibition.

The event will bring together a wealth of advice and information to help East Lancashire students plot their next step on the ladder of learning.

The Premier Education Exhibition will see a variety of education establishments all under one roof, offering a full range of advice and guidance on what to do next.

It will appeal to students of all ages -- whether they have just received their GCSE grades and are considering moving on to a sixth form college -- or whether they are thinking of higher education after A-levels.

Local colleges will be well represented at the exhibition, offering a host of information on the choice of further and higher education courses they offer, as well as the vocational studies which are available.

The exhibition will also interest those who are planning to leave the classroom behind and join the world of work -- as a number of local training providers will also be on hand with advice on how to acquire the skills needed for the jobs of tomorrow.

The event takes place in the Premier Suite at Ewood Park, on Thursday, August 28, from 10.30am.
