DARWEN Library Players will dedicate their production of The Odd Couple to one of its stars, June Slater, 63, who died on July 27.
June was due to appear in the production, having previously spent 30 years acting in, directing and publicising the players' shows.
June's friend Lynda White will take her part in The Odd Couple which will run on Friday, September 5, and Saturday, September 6, at the Library Theatre at 7.30pm.
This award-winning comedy is the female version of the famous film with the same name starring Jack Lemmon and Walter Mattheau.
