ONE Blackburn landlord is flying the flag for his beloved Rovers.
James Foley of the ZY bar on Market Street hoisted Blackburn Rovers' crest up the flagpole to mark the start of the new Premiership season.
And it seemed to work as Rovers beat Wolves 5-1!
James, seen with fellow Rovers fan Joe Whittaker, said: "It was a good luck message. The flagpole has been there since the place was built around 100 years ago but no one can remember a flag being up there since 1945. The flag has been everywhere with me, including to Cardiff when we won the Worthington Cup. I hope it brings more luck."
