RAMSBOTTOM had an unenviable disciplinary record last season, and their bad behaviour reared its ugly head last night as they had two men sent off.
The game boiled over on 25 minutes after a late, high and dangerous tackle from Woodley captain Vaughan on Matt Swailes resulted in the Ramsbottom forward retaliating and the referee had no option but to dismiss both players.
This disrupted Rams more than the home side and it was no surprise when the Stockport outfit took the lead on 32 minutes through Johnson.
Bulwich went close to equalising from Clark's quickly taken free kick but, on the stroke of half-time, Bromley took advantage of some slack defending to double Woodley's lead.
Rams' substitute Danny Heys was unlucky not to get the visitors back on level terms.
But Woodley had more quality in the final third and the impressive Hackney completed the scoring.
Both sides were reduced to nine men when Heys stamped on a Woodley player, who was on the ground, and he retaliated.
