HUNDREDS of new jobs could be created in Leigh, Golborne and Atherton after Wigan Council announced £3 million grant assistance for a series of property developments.
Schemes earmarked for a share of the cash include Leigh Commerce Park --where Orford Estates is building an office development and industrial unit off Warrington Road.
Grants will also go to complete the renovation of Ena Mill in Atherton by upgrading lifts and improving car parking.
And there will be cash available towards the development of an 18,500 sq m technology centre at Stone Cross Park, Golborne.
The grants will supplement £9m worth of investment which developers are making in the projects.
