BUSINESSES will be given a helping hand to make sure they are booming, thanks to local commerce experts.
East Lancashire Chamber of Commerce will hold an open day tomorrow at its headquarters at Red Rose Court in Clayton-le-Moors.
The event will be the first time the centre's £200,000 investment will be on show but the chamber wants to show how facilities can be best used for businesses.
Roger Gibson of the chamber said: "We have invested massively to create some of the finest conference and presentation facilities in the North.
"Our seminar rooms all feature interactive multimedia technologies and access to the internet.
"These have proved very popular for delegates who have attended our training courses and for firms who have used our facilities for their presentations."
The event will run from 10am to 4pm and will feature continuous short presentations from the chamber teams on the work they carry out.
Mr Gibson added: "We are here to represent the interests of all businesses in the region not just our members."
"Our role is to make business better, to help regenerate East Lancashire and to improve our economic standing."
The chamber is based at Roe Lee Business Centre, in Whalley New Road, Blackburn.
