ROSSENDALE Museum is appealing for families to help it create six banners as part of a nationwide drawing campaign.
Drawing Power aims to promote the benefits of drawing and to show how the skill could be valued more highly in both education and everyday life.
The museum has organised a project called A Journey Through the Valley.
Using the architectural features of the different valley towns as inspiration, those who take part in two batik workshops will help to create six banners, which will be put up at the museum, in Whitaker Park, Rawtenstall, on Saturday, October 11.
The workshops are being held on Saturday, September 13, and Saturday, October 4, 10am to 12pm.
They are suitable for families with children aged nine to 13, and all children must be accompanied by an adult.
It costs £5 per family for the two workshops and places are limited, so booking is essential.
For more information or to book, telephone the museum on 01706 244682.
