A LEIGH pub is top of the pots with a children's charity.
The Atherleigh Way has cleared out its cupboard, donating over 1000 pieces of crockery to Barnardo's.
The charity received everything but the kitchen sink as the pub made way for its newest range. The gift included over 100 side plates, 50 bowls, 40 breadboards, 24 tea pots, 25 milk jugs and 150 cups and saucers. Seventy five salt and pepper pots were thrown in for good measure.
The pub's donation forms part of Brewsters Family Restaurant's overall present to Barnardo's which has seen over 100,000 pieces from 70 restaurants being handed over.
