AN Asian policeman from Blackburn is the focus of a TV documentary due to be screened tonight.
Faith Police is part of the Living With It series and features a Blackburn bobby who is one of 23 officers in Eastern Division with an ethnic minority background.
The programme follows PC Fakhar Affi, who is part of Blackburn Police's ethnic minority team.
Ian Aspin, a producer for the show who is also from Blackburn, said the focus for the programme was PC Affi's Muslim faith.
"There can be all kinds of problems for Asian police officers; just by being touched by a dog, or having to go into a lap-dancing bar, that can cause conflict", Mr Aspin said.
The programme is due to be shown on ITV at 10.30pm.
