Local teams turned out to honour promising fast bowler Shazad Iqbal who tragically died in 1995. Shazad used to play for Gujrat and his team were joined by NQ (pictured), Bowahal, Harangham, Blackburn Eagles, Haidria and Hifield.
The tournament final saw Harangham take on last year's winners NQ. NQ scored a meagre 75 off their 10 overs. Whilst the score looked at first to be very low for a tournament final it proved to be enough as Harangham failed to meet the challenge.
Harangham had beaten Haidria to reach the final and NQ had disposed of Blackburn Eagles in their semi-final game.
