A STUDENT of Longridge Teaching Centre has won the £500 top prize in the learndirect Summer Sizzler Prize Draw,
Kevin Peel, 45, of Pasturelands Drive, Billington, was presented with Asda vouchers and other prizes to the sum of £500 by learndirect Operations Manager, Christine Worthington.
He said: "I was quite shocked when I heard that I had won, but it will be very nice spending the vouchers.
"I've always enjoyed going to Longridge Teaching Centre and I feel that I have really benefited from the courses.
"I will be going back to do more."
Owner and manager of the centre, Barbara Walsh, added: "We were thrilled to hear that Kevin had won.
" He has done several courses with us and the prize couldn't have gone to a nicer person."
