MORE than 120 students at Avondale Primary School in Darwen were awarded certificates for their part in the Young Enterprise Primary Programme.
Doughnut making and rapping were on the agenda during the community project undertaken by students from years 2 and 3.
Jennifer Warburton, link teacher at Avondale who organised the programme, said: "Thanks to the volunteers and the dedication of the teaching staff the programme has taught the students vital lessons about society which I hope they will remember."
