A FREE concert is being staged in Nelson next week to launch Pendle's first community strategy.
It takes place outside the Leeds Road entrance to the Admiral's Market on Wednesday at midday and will feature two acts - Aasia and the Bavarian Band.
The event will publicly launch the new strategy, which has been developed by Pendle Partnership and Pendle Council.
Representatives from both organisations will be handing out copies of the new strategy and will be available to explain its implications for the people in Pendle.
The strategy sets out common goals for everyone to work towards so that they can help improve people's quality of life in the borough.
Free refreshments will also be provided, including tea, coffee, cakes and Asian sweets.
