BLACKBURN boss Graeme Souness is believed to be weighing up a summer move for Rangers forward Peter Lovenkrands.

As I understand it, Lovenkrands is one of several names currently under consideration as Souness starts planning for next season.

The Danish international has been a consistent scorer in Scotland whenever he's played for the Glasgow giants.

Signed from AB Copenhagen in June 2000, Lovenkrands has scored 20 goals in 78 league appearances for the Gers, and a further 12 in 32 cup games.

This season, the 24-year-old has been one of the few players to shine in a struggling Rangers side, having scored 13 times in 34 appearances.

As yet, Rovers are not thought to have made a formal approach but Lovenkrands could be a possible target as the summer develops.

Meanwhile, Fulham boss Chris Coleman is reported to be interesting in signing Everton's Tomasz Radzinski, who could be another target for Souness.

Rovers tried to sign the Canadian international during the January transfer window but Toffees boss David Moyes insisted he was not for sale.

Elsewhere, Rovers skipper Garry Flitcroft is reportedly a summer target for Wigan Athletic.

Flitcroft was linked with a move to the Latics in January and the First Division club are now rumoured to have resurrected their interest.

Rovers are also still waiting for an answer from Jonathon Douglas on their offer of a new contract.
