MY term as the only Liberal Democrat MEP in the North West comes to an end shortly.
So let me thank those readers who over the past five years have written to support my views and also those who have attacked me, often with venom. It's good to be noticed. It makes the European Parliament elections more personal.
Many people cannot name even one of the region's 10 MEPs so it's something that at least your readers know that if they vote Liberal Democrat for better or worse they get Chris Davies!
I've been outspoken and sometimes controversial, as this newspaper has often reported. If re-elected I am not planning to change in any way at all!
