THE Lancashire Evening Telegraph has reported that Maxine Carr 'was tasting freedom'. Media groups are apparently challenging what you describe as a 'draconian injunction' that bans any details of Maxine's whereabouts, appearance or movements being published.

To begin with, Maxine's so-called 'freedom' will be far from what any of us will consider to be freedom. If she ever puts a foot wrong, ever makes a mistake, ever becomes involved in any kind of dispute, the media will crucify her.

Maxine's not perfect, like the rest of us, we all make mistakes. She played no part in the brutal killings of poor Holly and Jessica and in fact her presence would very likely have prevented those terrible murders.

The evil and manipulative Ian Huntley escapes the wrath of the media whilst Maxine is targeted. Her crime was to fall in love with the wrong man -- nothing more.

The so-called 'draconian injunction' is to prevent an over-zealous self-serving media from endangering her life any further, by way of whipping up hysteria amongst the public which in itself should be a crime covered by 'incitement to harm'.
