A 28-YEAR-OLD Clayton-le-Moors man could be facing jail after being found with almost 100 ecstasy tablets.

Burnley Crown Court heard how Michael Guittard was going to take some of the 97 tablets himself and supply some to his friends.

The defendant, whose barrister said drugs were part of Guittard's lifestyle, asked for a pre-sentence report and he was bailed until June 21.

Judge Stuart Baker told Guittard his lifestyle may well be coming to an end soon and he had considered revoking bail as the defendant had offended since. He went on: "You must understand that when you come back here you are very much at risk of a substantial prison sentence."

Guittard, of Williams Street, Clayton-le-Moors, admitted possessing ecstasy with intent to supply on January 8. He was told to live at his home address and not to approach prosecution witnesses. Guittard must observe a curfew Mondays to Fridays between 7pm and 7am and between 9pm and 7am on Saturdays and Sundays.
