A SERIES of open-air concerts will be held in several Burnley parks this summer.
Burnley Borough Council in conjunction with the parks' Friends Group has organised the line-up which can be heard over the coming months.
The first event is on Sunday, June 13, when the Burnley Junior Alliance Brass Band will perform in Padiham's Memorial Park.
Other performances will see Towneley High School Brass Band play in Scott Park, Burnley on June 20. On July 31, in Queen's Park, Burnley, Brass in the Park will be staged featuring the Standish Band and Dobcross Silver Band.
