MORE than £2,000 was raised for school funds at Worsthorne Primary School's summer fair.
This is the third year the event, organised by Worsthorne School Parents' Group, has been held.
And this year's was the biggest and best yet, raising £2,235, which is £400 more than last year.
Visitors to the fair enjoyed all the usual stalls and games as well as a penalty shoot-out competition, a welly throwing competition, face painting and hair braiding.
