ART and nature will combine in a seven-mile guided walk this weekend.
The Wayside Arts Walk on Sunday will give people the chance to enjoy the summer woodlands and moors above Burnley.
The five-hour stroll will take in projects completed as part of the Forest of Burnley scheme, which has seen thousands of trees planted across the borough.
The walk will take in the route of the Wayside Arts Trail between Towneley Hall and Crown Point. The trail is a joint project between Burnley Council and Mid Pennine Arts.Anyone interested in taking part should meet at the front steps of Towneley Hall at 10.30am complete with walking shoes, waterproofs and food and drink.
