A packed audience of parents, teachers and supporters watched as teams from nine schools took part in the Lancashire Maths challenge.
The competition involves all 88 secondary schools and culminates in grand final held this month.
And it was Clitheroe Royal Grammar which claimed top spot. Among the winners was Zoeyah Shaheen of Accrington. He father Zafar Ali told us, "She did really well and always makes me very proud."
"She has always been gifted. She finished the Quran at 7 and also read 80 books in two and half months when she was younger."
