Students have celebrated over 30 years of English for Speakers of other Languages (ESOL) tuition at Nelson and Colne College.
Karen Heaton, organiser of the International Day, explained, "Our students come from a number of different countries and are here either because they have chosen to study in the UK, are working here or have married local people.
"We decided to share information about our different homelands and cultures with other learners in the college. We put up displays of artefacts from countries as diverse as the Philippines, Libya, Italy, Peru, Slovakia, Nepal, Pakistan, Denmark, Turkey, Bulgaria, Hong Kong and Poland."
