I REFER to the write up on "flies still buzzing" at body site. This made for some gruesome reading.
I remember reading your article when the body of this 58-year-old man was discovered, together with that of his pet dog.
What a very sad reflection on today's society that this poor man's body lay for weeks undetected by anyone.
I am not pointing a finger at anyone in particular. We all know someone who lives alone and indeed some of these people prefer to keep themselves to themselves.
I still feel, however, that in a case such as this, that this poor man (and his pet dog), was sadly neglected and we should all reflect upon this, each and very one of us.
