A TEAM of experts were on hand at Tottington Library this week to help people "hear better".
As part of a rolling programme throughout the borough, staff from the audiology department at Fairfield Hospital, library services, social services, British Telecom and the Royal National Institute for the Deaf gave advice to people who are hard of hearing.
This ranged from the very deaf to those who have minor hearing problems, and visitors to the special event were introduced to modern day gadgets designed to make their life easier -- including "seeing the doorbell ring".
