POLICE have renewed their appeal for information following the rape of a teenager in Moor Park, Preston, in May.

The attack happened at 4pm on Sunday, May 30, when the 19-year-old man went into the public toilets, and was followed into a cubicle by two men, one then raped him.

The first offender was white, aged about 40, of stocky build, 5ft8ins tall with short, greying hair. He is believed to have a mole on his right cheek. The man was wearing a navy blue fleece jacket and blue denim jeans.

His accomplice was white, aged about 30, slim, 5ft 9ins tall, clean-shaven with a tanned complexion. He was wearing sunglasses and a light grey coloured top.

Detective Inspector Joe Kellet said: "We are also keen to trace a small burgundy coloured hatchback car, with two doors, which was seen to drive away from the location shortly after the offence took place.

"The vehicle is described as being several years old and had rust patches over the rear wheel arches. It had a sports or customised bonnet.

"The vehicle may or may not be connected to the incident but the occupants may have relevant information."
