READING a headline in one of the daily papers the other week it stated the total debt owed by everyone in this country now stands at one trillion. It doesn't surprise me in the least.

We now live in a money/materialistic mad world, full of folk who must have everything now and are only interested in keeping up with the Jones's and won't do without.

What many forget is that no one forces them to have these things. How they live their lives is up to them.

Most of these problems are self-inflicted, usually caused by greed, selfishness and utter stupidity.

They can't blame anyone else but themselves as they made these choices through their own freedom of choice. Whether it's a house, car, mobile or holiday abroad, you choose to have it or not.

No wonder there are so many greedy and gullible people out there, up to their necks in debt. Your choice, your fault.
