THERE were storm clouds over Blackburn in spite of the summer sunshine as the Illyria Theatre Company brought Shakespeare to town.
Members of the award-winning professional theatre group staged a special open-air performance of The Tempest in Witton County Park.
A large audience brought their deckchairs along to enjoy the show.
Illyria will be returning to East Lancashire next month when they put on an open-air version of Pride and Prejudice in the Rose Garden at Accrington's Haworth Art Gallery, on Thursday, July 8.
