A PLUMBER was jailed for 21 months on Tuesday for the manslaughter of a soldier in May.
Terence Biggs, 26, of Chindits Way, Fulwood, killed Corporal Richard Fox, a member of the 5 General Support Regiment, with a punch to the head at a party at the Heathcote's Great Room at Preston North End in May, Preston Crown Court heard.
The blow by Mr Biggs, who had become jealous when he saw fiancee Claire Docherty dancing with the soldier, caused one of Cpl Fox's arteries to rupture causing a brain haemorrhage.
