A COUNCIL housing estate was to get a multi-million pound facelift as part of a Government Estate action programme. The Galligreaves Estate in Blackburn was to be overhauled and improved with almost £8million. The project was welcomed by council leaders and residents after the Wood Vale estate in Darwen had been improved earlier in the year.
