STOP PRESS
Steve Cotterill has thrown a blanket of secrecy over one injury concern - with the Clarets player involved rated at just 50/50. For Rotherham, Martin Butler, who had a knee op during the summer, could now miss the season after contracting both hepatitis 'A' and glandular fever. Richie Barker (toe), Paul McLaren (hamstring) and Martin McIntosh (knee) also miss out.
DID YOU KNOW?
Millmoor is not a happy hunting ground for the Clarets, who have won just one of their last 16 visits. That came in January 1993 when Adrian Heath scored the only goal from the penalty spot.
OPPOSITION'S KEY MAN
MICHAEL PROCTOR:
The Sunderland-born striker was forced to give up the dream last season when he became the makeweight in Darren Byfield's switch to the Stadium of Light. Two goals on his debut against Reading made him an instant hit and he ended the season with six goals in 17 Millers appearances - including a penalty in the 3-0 win over Burnley in May! Much is now expected of Proctor this season - especially following the loss of Martin Butler.
YOUNG GUN
Striker Will Hoskins made a remarkable impact on Boxing Day, 2003, when he took to the field as a substitute against Wigan with just thirty minutes of first team football under his belt. Two goals in three minutes earned Ronnie Moore's men a 2-1 win. Sadly, it did not earn the 18-year-old a regular starting role and he made just two more appearances as a sub that season. Hoskins could feature on the bench tonight.
