RAMSBOTTOM manager Derek Egan is preparing to delve into the depths of his squad.
As one door opens with the return of Gareth Brooks and Chris Mackay, another closes with the news that Michael Saunders' suspension has coincided with him suffering a shattered rib cage.
Bernard Morley and Liam Denning are also suspended for tomorrow's home game against Colwyn Bay in the FA Cup first qualifying round, while John Blackley is also unavailable.
"It's just as well that we've got a strong squad," Egan said.
"It's going to be a tough game because they're in the league above us.
"Clitheroe have drawn with them twice now, home and away, so I would expect them to be of a certain quality.
"But it will provide us with a really good test - not that we have a shortage of that in our own division."
