Bacup Borough 0 St Helens Town 0
BACUP were denied the chance to play their usual free-flowing football due to the visitors spoiling tatics and referee's disruptions.
Darren Emmett had a shot well saved after linking well with Martin Peters. He then received a short corner and cut inside before finding Karl Stanley, who shot over.
Emmett again had a chance on the stroke of half-time but fired just inches wide of the post.
Lee Wilkinson did manage to find the net after the break but the referee ruled it out for offside.
In the closing minutes, Sean Cryer gave the ball away and St Helens had the opportunity to steal the points, but the chance went begging.
