STYLISTS at a Rossendale hair salon rubbed shoulders with the stars at the British Hairdressing Business Awards.
The team from Headmasters, Bacup Road, Waterfoot, travelled to London for the prestigious event.
Thanks to owner Christine Moffat the salon beat more than 1,000 UK entries to the finals in the Salon of the Year category.
Christine's daughter, Rebecca enjoyed meeting the host Neil Fox at the Royal Lancaster Hotel, London.
Christine said: "It was a fantastic night. It was an experience for us as this was the first time we entered. We hope we will be able to win at next year's competition."
The salon has regular clients who make round trips of 400 miles and more to have their hair styled.
Christine added: "We must be doing something right because our visitors' book shows that clients are travelling from a 40-mile radius and beyond, including one lady who has moved to Bedfordshire but still comes back to us every six weeks.
"We have gone computerised now so we are hoping this will help when we enter the competition again next year."
