ATHERTON LR brushed aside their Albany Northern League side Whickham 3-0 in a one-sided FA Cup first qualifying round tie.
Paul Crompton gave them the lead from the penalty spot in the 37th minute.
And he netted his second ten minutes after the break, when he was sent clean through to beat the goalkeeper.
With seven minutes left, Phil Howard crossed for Barry Massey to slide home.
